Halmstad was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.
In addition to Halmstad, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Halmstad Solgårdens Soldater could be found in Group 6 together with Roslagens Jullar, Dalby, Claessons lärjungar, Håkans Bötta, Avgå Alla, Åhus Handboll 1 and Josagrogg. Halmstad Solgårdens Soldater continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Svart with 7-9. In the Final, Böffes Juniorer won over Kaffekaga fc and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. Halmstad comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 120 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
