Claessons lärjungar was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Claessons lärjungar, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Claessons lärjungar could be found in Group 6 together with Roslagens Jullar, Dalby, Håkans Bötta, Avgå Alla, Åhus Handboll 1, Josagrogg and Halmstad Solgårdens Soldater.

Claessons lärjungar continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BARON with 8-9. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Claessons lärjungar comes from Jönköping which lies approximately 210 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Jönköping does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Gulgröna hjältar, BAS (Balkan All Stars), Gröngula hjältar, Habo HK, IFK Bankeryd, IF Hallby HK and HK Psyk).
