Unathletico Madrid ÖKH Classic

Unathletico Madrid was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Unathletico Madrid, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Unathletico Madrid could be found in Group 1 together with Josagrogg Originals, TSV Bonn rrh., Gröngula hjältar, MARRE BK, Quicksand, Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Röd and Bolton Big Ballers.

Unathletico Madrid continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gröngula hjältar with 11-12. In the Final, Böffes Juniorer won over Kaffekaga fc and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Unathletico Madrid comes from Malmö which lies approximately 88 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 55 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: LVHK 03, Mellangården FC, Dalby, H43 Lund HF, KHF, B-laget, Dalby GIF, HK Svalöv, Lödde Vikings HK and KFUM Lundagård).
