Los Matadores was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.
In addition to Los Matadores, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Los Matadores could be found in Group 3 together with Västerås Slitna HF, ÅlisÄrPappa, Kulltorp Rockets, Chalmers HK 2, Benestad United, Åhus Handboll and Holy shit IF. Los Matadores continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK LVHK Röd with 5-12. In the Final, Böffes Juniorer won over Kaffekaga fc and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. Los Matadores comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 12 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Team Fråga oss, Blomma ut, Nederlaget, Hot Mess, Avgå Alla, Inget bäst-före-datum, LEA, Göinge HK, Bolist Boyz and Vinslövs HK). 8 games playedGoals |
