Benestad United was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

In addition to Benestad United, 71 other teams from 4 different countries played in Öppen klass Herrar Classic. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Benestad United could be found in Group 3 together with Västerås Slitna HF, ÅlisÄrPappa, Kulltorp Rockets, Los Matadores, Chalmers HK 2, Åhus Handboll and Holy shit IF.

Benestad United continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hasses Pojkar with 11-13. In the Final, Dalby won over Roslagens Jullar and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar Classic.

Benestad United comes from tomelilla which lies approximately 53 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around tomelilla does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Mårtens pågar, ArgaSkånskaPågar, HK Björnen, Motståndarna, Craft of Anderzson, IFK Ystad HK, Österlens IK, Tomelilla IF, Anderzson by Craft and Ystads IF HF).
