Mormors Lejon HM

Mormors Lejon was one of 323 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016. They participated with one team in Herr Motion.

In addition to Mormors Lejon, 50 other teams played in Herr Motion. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Mormors Lejon could be found in Group 7 together with Killemountains , Böglarehults IF , Körsbärsvillan and Sons of Hanawood .

Mormors Lejon continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BSC Täppetcabana with 0-1. In the Final, The muppeteers won over Andralaget and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herr Motion.

Mormors Lejon comes from Malmö which lies approximately 91 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beach Fotboll takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 60 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beach Fotboll 2016 (Among others: Andralaget, FC Bellevue, Joftings Jägare, Västra Ingelstad IS, Mansvänner, Furulunds IK, Genarps IF, Dalby GIF, Kvarnby IK and Harlösa IF).
