Lindås Waves IBK was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with 5 teams in Pojkar 08, Pojkar 99 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Flickor 03 made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Fröjereds IF by 1-2.

During Warbergsspelen 2015, Lindås Waves IBK had 6 teams playing in Pojkar 01, Pojkar 00, Pojkar 99, Flickor 04 and Flickor 03 respectively. The team in Pojkar 01 made it to the the Final in Slutspel Aand won it over Mullsjö AIS by 4-2.

Lindås Waves IBK comes from Hovås which lies approximately 60 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Hovås does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (Among others: Åsa IF, Onsala IBK, IK Zenith, Floda IBK, IBK Göteborg, Varla IBK, Lindome IBK, Pixbo Wallenstam IBF, Öckerö IBK and Öckerö Innebandy).
