Hofterup ibf was one of 118 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Warbergsspelen 2016. They participated with one team in Pojkar 02.

In addition to Hofterup ibf, 25 other teams played in Pojkar 02. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Hofterup ibf could be found in Group C together with Warberg IBF 1, Billingsfors IBK and Mölndals IBF.

Hofterup ibf continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group C. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Åmåls IBK with 1-4. In the Final, Åmåls IBK won over Warberg IBF 2 and became the winner of Slutspel B in Pojkar 02.

Hofterup ibf comes from Löddeköpinge which lies approximately 150 km from Varberg, where Warbergsspelen takes place. The area around Löddeköpinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Warbergsspelen 2016 (FBC Viljan, Åstorp/Kvidinge IBS, Vanløse, FC Helsingborg, Åstorp/Kvidinge Innebandy, SST NET Landskrona IBK, Malmö FBC, Bjärreds IBK and Hofterups IBF).
