In addition to Turkey, 11 other teams from 11 different countries played in Women. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Turkey could be found in Women Pool C together with Russia, Japan, Australia, Israel and Sweden.
Turkey made it to Playoff A after reaching 2:nd place in Women Pool C. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Russia with 3-4. Thereby Turkey finished second in W Playoff A during Goalball VM 2018.
