In addition to the three Borlänge teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003 C2. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 3 could be found in Group 4 together with AIK Handbollsförening 1, IFK Malmö HF 2, Halmstad Handboll 1, Kristianstad HK 3, LUGI HF 3, Åhus Handboll 1, Täby HBK Sthlm 3, Alingsås HK 1 and Rimbo HK Roslagen.

Borlänge HK 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H 65 Höör 1 with 7-14. In the Final, Skuru IK Sthlm won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003 C2.
