In addition to the two Vinslövs teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Vinslövs HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Bjärnums HK 2, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1, Västerås Irsta HF 2, Tollarps IF 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, IFK Kristianstad 1, Karlskrona Handboll 1, H 65 Höör 1 and Halmstad Handboll 3.

Vinslövs HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK Hök Laholm 1 with 5-9. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over H43 Lund 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005 D2.
