In addition to the two IFK Bankeryd teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2005 D2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Åhus Handboll 2, Halmstad Handboll 4, IFK Kristianstad 3, HK Hök Laholm 1, IFK Malmö HF, H 78 Sölvesborg, IFK Ystad HK 1, Hammarby IF Sthlm and Kävlinge HK 3.
