In addition to the three IFK Tumba Sthlm teams, 46 other teams played in Pojkar 1999 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba Sthlm 2 could be found in Group 5 together with Uppsala HK 1, Halmstad Handboll 3, Bromölla AIK, IK Lågan Hörby 2, H43 Lund 1, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka, Enköpings HF 1 and Växjö HF 1.

IFK Tumba Sthlm 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lugi HF 4 with 12-15. In the Final, Lugi HF 4 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 1999 A2.
