In addition to the two IFK Tumba Sthlm teams, 43 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 could be found in Group 4 together with LUGI HF 1, Borlänge HK 1, Skara HF 1, Näsby Handboll 2, H 65 Höör 2, Kristianstad HK 1, Gustavsbergs IF HK 1 and Alingsås HK.

IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against H 65 Höör 2, which they won with 13-12. Thereby IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 won the entire B-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
