In addition to Eslövs IK, 57 other teams played in Flickor 2001 B2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK could be found in Group 1 together with Lugi HF, Uppsala HK 1, Kungälvs HK, H 78 Sölvesborg, Växjö HF, Spånga HK Stockholm, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Staffanstorps HK 2 and IK Baltichov Gbg 2.

Eslövs IK made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Klagshamn 2, which they won with 11-4. Thereby Eslövs IK won the entire B-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
