In addition to the three H43 Lund teams, 64 other teams played in Flickor 2002 B1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 1 could be found in Group 2 together with LVHK Lödde 2, Kävlinge HK, IFK Malmö HF, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Gustafs GoIF (Dalarna), HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm and Borlänge HK 1.

H43 Lund 1 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Vadstena HF, which they won with 9-6. Thereby H43 Lund 1 won the entire C-Slutspel in Flickor 2002 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
