In addition to the two H43 Lund teams, 42 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Eslövs HF 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Ystads IF HF 2, HK Hök Laholm, Växjö HF, LVHK Lödde 2, Alingsås HK 1, Trelleborg HBK 1, Åhus Handboll 2 and IFK Tumba Sthlm.

H43 Lund 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against LVHK Lödde 1 with 5-6. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Åhus Handboll 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D1.
