In addition to Rimbo HK Roslagen, 69 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Rimbo HK Roslagen could be found in Group 4 together with Borlänge HK, HK Ankaret Bjärred 1, H43 Lund 3, Raklev G&I, Danmark 2, Vetlanda HF 2, Eslövs HF 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Ystads IF HF 4 and IFK Kristianstad 4.

Rimbo HK Roslagen continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 1 with 5-8. In the Final, Raklev G&I, Danmark 2 won over Halmstad Handboll 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002 B1.
