Silver medal! Reached second place in C-Slutspel
In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2002 B1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund 2, Alingsås HK 2, Åhus Handboll 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna, Trelleborg HBK, Ystads IF HF 3, Uppsala HK 1, Mönsterås HK and IFK Kristianstad 1.

Halmstad Handboll 1 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Raklev G&I, Danmark 2 with 10-14. Thereby Halmstad Handboll 1 finished second in P02 C-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
