In addition to the 6 Halmstad teams, 64 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 5 could be found in Group 1 together with IK Bolton Sthlm 1, IFK Bankeryd 2, LVHK Lödde 2, Tollarps IF, H43 Lund 2, Alingsås HK 1, Ljunghusens HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 5 and HK Eskil Eskilstuna 1.

Halmstad Handboll 5 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 5 with 3-8. In the Final, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 won over Åhus Handboll 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C1.
