In addition to the two Guif Eskilstuna teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Halmstad Handboll 6, H43 Lund 4, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Kristianstad 2, Växjö HF 2, Eslövs HF 1, Uppsala HK 1, Ystads IF HF 2 and Kärra HF Göteborg.

IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Åhus Handboll 5, which they won with 10-9. Thereby IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 won the entire B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
