Silver medal! Reached second place in B-Slutspel

In addition to the 5 Åhus teams, 65 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 5 could be found in Group 3 together with Ronneby HK 1, Ystads IF HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 3, Kävlinge HK 1, Karlskrona Handboll 2, Alingsås HK 3, IFK Malmö HF, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 and Huddinge HK Sthlm.

Åhus Handboll 5 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 with 9-10. Thereby Åhus Handboll 5 finished second in P04 B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
