In addition to the two Karlskrona teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Karlskrona Handboll 2 could be found in Group 3 together with Ronneby HK 1, Ystads IF HF 3, Halmstad Handboll 3, Kävlinge HK 1, Åhus Handboll 5, Alingsås HK 3, IFK Malmö HF, IF Guif Eskilstuna 1 and Huddinge HK Sthlm.

Karlskrona Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 with 7-11. In the Final, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 won over Åhus Handboll 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C1.
