In addition to the two Karlskrona teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2004 C1. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Karlskrona Handboll 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Åhus Handboll 4, Hammarby IF Sthlm, IFK Kristianstad 1, Halmstad Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 2, HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm, IFK Bankeryd 1, Staffanstorps HK and Alingsås HK 2.

Karlskrona Handboll 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK Sthlm with 8-9. In the Final, IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 won over Åhus Handboll 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004 C1.
