In addition to the three Eslövs teams, 40 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK 3 could be found in Group 4 together with LVHK Lödde 3, Trelleborg HBK 3, H43 Lund 1, Kristianstad HK 2, Alingsås HK 1, H 65 Höör 1, Ronneby HK 1, Tollarps IF 1 and Halmstad Handboll 2.

Eslövs IK 3 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 10-11. Thereby Eslövs IK 3 finished second in F06 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
