InTeern was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to InTeern, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof InTeern could be found in Group 3 together with Wild Ones, "Vi har också mutat domaren", Åhus Handboll, BK Halvmiss, Falköpings AIK HK, Ellisarna med flera and Halmstad Handboll. InTeern continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hej Sash with 8-10. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. InTeern comes from Stenkullen which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Stenkullen does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Among others: Alingsås HK, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka, Torslanda HK Göteborg, Redbergslids IK Gbg, Trötta fotbollsspelare, Kärra HF Göteborg, Div2podden, dead man walking, Önnereds HK Gbg and IK Sävehof Partille). 8 games playedGoals |
