Motståndarna was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Motståndarna, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Motståndarna could be found in Group 2 together with Växjö Färg & Staket, Böffes jr, Alpha Hanarna, Näsby Handboll 2, Div2podden, Ursäkta? and KSK ULTRAS. Motståndarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Mormors pojkar with 7-11. In the Final, Mormors pojkar won over Lasse spadez and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Motståndarna comes from Tibro which lies approximately 280 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Tibro does also provide four additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016 (Team van Stam, IFK Karlsborg, Simons fjun and HK Guldkroken Hjo). 9 games playedGoals |
