The Gausels was one of 284 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to The Gausels, 59 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof The Gausels could be found in Group 1 together with IFK ICE AGE, Vaktmästaren och de andra, HAK and Grönbete. The Gausels continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Strömberg HC with 4-9. In the Final, Utvecklingsklassen won over Genföreningen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. The Gausels comes from Huddinge which lies approximately 430 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Huddinge does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017 (Among others: Huddinge HK Sthlm, KSK-Ultras, Tyresö Handboll, Haninge HK Stockholm, AIK Handbollsförening, IFK Tumba Sthlm, Hammarby IF Sthlm, Täby HBK Sthlm, Älta IF Stockholm and HK Silwing/Troja Sthlm). 5 games playedGoals |
