In addition to the 6 Kristianstad teams, 84 other teams played in Flickor 2003 B1. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Kristianstad HK 2 could be found in Group 5 together with Eslövs IK 5, IFK Malmö HF 1, Falköpings AIK HK 2, H 78 Sölvesborg, Spånga HK Stockholm 2, Vadstena HF 2, Lugi HF 2, IF Guif Eskilstuna and Torslanda HK Göteborg 2.
Kristianstad HK 2 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against H43 Lund with 8-11. Thereby Kristianstad HK 2 finished second in F03 A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. Kristianstad HK also participated in Flickor 2003 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
