In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 48 other teams played in Flickor 2001 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Vinslövs HK, IFK Bankeryd, Kävlinge HK 2, Spånga HK Stockholm 1, IK Sävehof Partille, H 65 Höör H65 2, Falu HK 2, Eslövs IK and KFUM Lundagård 1.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gustavsbergs IF HK with 10-11. In the Final, Uppsala HK 1 won over Gustavsbergs IF HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2001 A1.

Uppsala HK also participated in Flickor 2001 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Borlänge HK with 5-7.
