In addition to the two H 78 Sölvesborg teams, 57 other teams played in Pojkar 2006 D2. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof H 78 Sölvesborg 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Göinge HK, IFK Bankeryd 2, Uppsala HK 1, HK Aranäs Kungsbacka 1, Önnereds HK Gbg Grön, Ystads IF HF 2, Åhus Handboll 2, Kävlinge HK and Staffanstorps HK Östrand.

H 78 Sölvesborg 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK with 5-6. In the Final, H43 Lund 1 won over Ystads IF HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006 D2.

H 78 Sölvesborg also participated in Pojkar 2006 D1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in P06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Tollarps IF with 7-8.
