In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 23 other teams played in Damer Junior 98-00. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Torslanda HK, H43 Lund HF 2, Eslövs IK, Huddinge HK 2, Höörs HK H 65 2, Uppsala HK 2 and HK Silwing/Troja all-stars.

IFK Kristianstad 1 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 2, which they won with 12-11. Thereby IFK Kristianstad 1 won the entire B-Slutspel in Damer Junior 98-00 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
