In addition to the 6 Kristianstad teams, 82 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Kristianstad HK 5 could be found in Group 3 together with Höörs HK H 65 1, Vadstena HF 1, Sollentuna HK, HK Hök, Eslövs IK 2, Huddinge HK 1, IK Lågan Hörby, IK Baltichov and Borlänge HK 1.
Kristianstad HK 5 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against H43 Lund HF, which they won with 17-14. Thereby Kristianstad HK 5 won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. Kristianstad HK also participated in Flickor 2003 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
