In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 86 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Höörs HK H 65 1, Vadstena HF 1, Sollentuna HK, HK Hök, Eslövs IK 2, Kristianstad HK 5, Huddinge HK 1, IK Lågan Hörby and IK Baltichov.

Borlänge HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Spånga HK 3 with 7-11. In the Final, Kristianstad HK 5 won over H43 Lund HF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2003.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2003 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund with 9-11.
