In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 3 could be found in Group 1 together with Tomelilla IF, Huddinge HK 1, Halmstad Handboll Halmstad handboll 1, Hammarby IF HF 1, Ljunghusens HK, IFK Malmö HF, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Växjö HF 1 and IFK Kristianstad 1.

Alingsås HK 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Eslövs IK 3 with 6-12. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Eslövs IK 1 in the final with 9-8.
