In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Eslövs IK 2, Ljunghusens HK 2, IFK Tumba HK 2, Lödde Vikings HK 3, Höörs HK H 65 1, Ronneby HK, Hässleholms HF, Tollarps IF 1 and H43 Lund HF 2.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd 1 with 6-10. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over IFK Bankeryd 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in F08 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK with 5-6.
