In addition to OV Helsingborg HK, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof OV Helsingborg HK could be found in Group 4 together with Spånga HK 1, Eslövs IK 2, Borlänge HK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, IFK Bankeryd, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb and AIK Handbollsförening 2.

OV Helsingborg HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against VästeråsIrsta HF with 8-11. In the Final, Höörs HK H 65 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

OV Helsingborg HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H 65 Höör 3 with 11-12.
