In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 4 together with Spånga HK 1, Eslövs IK 2, Borlänge HK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, OV Helsingborg HK and AIK Handbollsförening 2.

IFK Bankeryd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 3 with 11-14. In the Final, Höörs HK H 65 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 8-9.
