In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 59 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Kristianstad 4, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Raklev G&I Raklev 2, IK Bolton 1, IK Sävehof 1, H43 Lund HF migogang, OV Helsingborg HK, Ystads IF HF 1 and Halmstad Handboll 1.

IFK Bankeryd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll with 7-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over Ystads IF HF 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Pojkar 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the Semi final in P02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Ankaret Bjärred Lag 1 with 8-10.
