In addition to IFK Bankeryd, 42 other teams played in Herrar Junior 98-00. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd could be found in Group 3 together with HK Aranäs, Lugi HF 3, IK Lågan Hörby, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, Eslövs IK, Tyresö Handboll 2 and Enköpings HF 1.

IFK Bankeryd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK Vhk2 with 10-11. In the Final, Vinslövs HK Vhk2 won over HK Aranäs and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 98-00.
