In addition to the two IFK Bankeryd teams, 63 other teams played in Pojkar 2006. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Tollarps IF, IFK Kristianstad 3, Uppsala HK, IK Baltichov, Lödde Vikings HK 3, Göinge HK, Eslövs HF 2 and Halmstad Handboll 1.

IFK Bankeryd 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 1 with 3-7. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2006.

IFK Bankeryd also participated in Pojkar 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in P06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 5-6.
