In addition to the 5 Borlänge teams, 65 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Spånga HK 1, Eslövs IK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, IFK Bankeryd, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, OV Helsingborg HK and AIK Handbollsförening 2.

Borlänge HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK 1 with 11-14. In the Final, Vinslövs HK won over H43 Lund HF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H 65 Höör 3 with 9-10.
