In addition to the two AIK teams, 68 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof AIK Handbollsförening 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Spånga HK 1, Eslövs IK 2, Borlänge HK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Gustavsbergs IF HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, IFK Bankeryd, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb and OV Helsingborg HK.

AIK Handbollsförening 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba HK 1 with 7-15. In the Final, IFK Tumba HK 1 won over Tyresö Handboll and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

AIK Handbollsförening also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 6-10.
