Redbergslids IK P01

Redbergslids IK was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 2001.

In addition to Redbergslids IK, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Redbergslids IK could be found in Group 6 together with Uppsala HK 1, Lugi HF 1, HK Ankaret, IK Bolton 3, H43 Lund HF 2, Mönsterås HK, Ljunghusens HK, Önnereds HK 1 and IFK Kristianstad 2.

Redbergslids IK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Tyresö Handboll with 6-10. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Redbergslids comes from Sävedalen which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Sävedalen does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Among others: IK Baltichov, Alingsås HK, HK Aranäs, Önnereds HK, Kärra HF, IK Sävehof, Team van Stam, VAKTAR BEACHEN, Näset and Torslanda HK).
