In addition to Göteborg Beach Handball Club, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) could be found in Group 1 together with Hässleholms HF, IK Sävehof 3, H43 Lund HF migogang, IK Bolton 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, IFK Kristianstad 3, Kävlinge HK, Åhus Handboll 4 and Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 1.
