In addition to Kävlinge HK, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Kävlinge HK could be found in Group 1 together with Hässleholms HF, IK Sävehof 3, H43 Lund HF migogang, IK Bolton 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, IFK Kristianstad 3, Åhus Handboll 4, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 1 and Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK).

Kävlinge HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 10-12. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Kävlinge HK also participated in Pojkar 2001 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 C-Slutspel, but lost it against IF Guif Eskilstuna 2 with 12-15.
