In addition to the 6 H43 Lund teams, 51 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof H43 Lund HF migogang could be found in Group 1 together with Hässleholms HF, IK Sävehof 3, IK Bolton 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, IFK Kristianstad 3, Kävlinge HK, Åhus Handboll 4, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 1 and Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK).

H43 Lund HF migogang continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 7-16. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.
