In addition to the 6 H43 Lund teams, 51 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof H43 Lund HF 2 could be found in Group 6 together with Uppsala HK 1, Lugi HF 1, HK Ankaret, Redbergslids IK, IK Bolton 3, Mönsterås HK, Ljunghusens HK, Önnereds HK 1 and IFK Kristianstad 2.

H43 Lund HF 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 2 with 9-10. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.
