In addition to the two Ankaret teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof HK Ankaret - Hajarna could be found in Group 5 together with Ljunghusens HK 3, Vinslövs HK, Eslövs IK 1, IFK Bankeryd 2, H43 Lund HF 1, Älta IF 2, Höörs HK H 65 2, Gökstens BK 1 and Åhus Handboll 1.

HK Ankaret - Hajarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF HF 1 with 1-6. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 1 won over Lödde Vikings HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.
