Lingonligan was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Lingonligan, 39 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Lingonligan could be found in Group 3 together with Vakant, Jarå 1, Blixten McQueen, VSIPINAL, Bengan Boys, Joosagrogg and FC Skeune. Lingonligan continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against USIF with 9-11. In the Final, Fyrasvenskarendansk won over USIF and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Lingonligan comes from Furulund which lies approximately 78 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
